Neal Jensen, CEO

Neal Jensen, Chief Executive Officer, has been Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center’s CEO since 2008. Previously he served 10 years as Chief Financial Officer for CVRMC, making dramatic financial improvements which gave CVRMC the capacity to expand services and become fiscally sound.
Over the years he has seen the need for expansion and improved accommodations for patients and their families. The construction of the new, 67,000 square foot expansion of the hospital was completed in 2017 and outlying clinics have been established in Superior, Kearny, Young, and Tonto Basin. Under his leadership, many new services have been established in the community providing close-to-home access for patients in the service area.
He is a man of great vision and has a steadfast resolve for the health and wellness of the communities he is committed to serving. He has served in leadership roles at the local level and hospital and healthcare organizations at the state and national levels. Mr. Jensen has been an advocate, a supporter, a leader who encourages good health, who cares about the true meaning of community and who is passionate about his all-encompassing role in healthcare.
Family and church are the most important aspects of Neal Jensen’s life. He, along with his wife Kathie, have made Globe-Miami their home. They have raised three children who are all currently attending universities in the southwest.
