Karen Gremminger, MD
Medical Oncologist
Dr. Karen Gremminger, Hematologist/Medical Oncologist, is from Houston, Texas and graduated from Texas A & M with undergraduate degrees in Food Science and Technology. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock Texas. Her education continued at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah where she completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Gremminger completed her Fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Gremminger and her husband, Mark Bullard, met in medical school. They lived 22 years in Oshkosh, Wisconsin where Dr. Gremminger worked in a community of about 60,000 people and enjoyed community outreach to smaller communities nearby. She and Mark moved to Arizona to be closer to family after their twin daughters graduated from high school.
Karen and Mark have three daughters who are currently attending Grand Canyon University, Arizona State University, and Central Arizona College.
In Dr. Gremminger’s spare time, she enjoys gardening, swimming, hiking, refinishing furniture, and home repair projects. She likes to stay busy and is also an Arizona Master Gardener trained in Pinal County and she volunteers at Boyce Thompson Arboretum as well as Special Olympics.
