David Richardson, MD

Dr. Richardson is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed residency training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He received advanced fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at the Taos Orthopedic Institute.
He treats a wide variety of conditions with a focus on disorders and injuries affecting the shoulder and knee. This includes ACL injuries, meniscus tears, rotator cuff injuries, labral tears, fractures, and arthritis, among others. He also has a specialized interest in shoulder arthroplasty (shoulder replacement surgery).
Dr. Richardson enjoys seeing patients of all ages and activity levels. He seeks to closely involve his patients in their care and provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment at every step.
